Working with you, for you

We work with you to establish firstly your needs, secondly your wants, and thirdly your desires. This enables us to scope the project in line with the budget and give you as much as possible.

We confirm this and the cost schedule in writing to you, and either work from existing architect plans or produce designs to delight you. We’re very flexible, and make tweaks along the way to accommodate a fresh idea.

We take the initial plans through the planning application process and ensure they meet with building regulations. Through a series of meetings with you, we agree specifications and costing, after which we produce a project management schedule and talk you through this so that you’re happy it fits with your situation.

Planning, regulations, specifications

Our clients benefit from our inside insight of local authority building planning permissions, regulations and codes of practice. We know what materials, features and dimensions are building regulation compliant, and those that aren’t. It shortens the lead time and reduces the stress.

Innovative technologies, eco-options

We can also advise you on new construction technologies and eco-build options, and guide you through specification decisions, fixtures and fittings.

The lie of the land

With a new build, we use survey experts where needed to determine the property’s soil stability for foundation laying and load bearing to avoid ground shift impact on the building.

There may be other environmental impacts we need to consider. We communicate with our clients all the way through.

Project managing – time and money

Keeping progress time up and costs down is the purpose of our project management system. We’ll keep you up to date with what’s happening.

What we’re doing

We are building a 5-bedroom 5-bathroom family home on a plot that did contain a bungalow. This home will be finished with very high specification fixtures and fittings.

We are nearing completion on a 2-storey 3-bedroom home on a piece of ground formerly occupied by a couple of outhouses. We are integrating light and space to create an ideal family home.

Another turnkey project is converting a run-down, badly situated corner property bungalow into a luxury chalet bungalow with privacy and contemporary charm.
