Right, where do I start?! After 10 quotes and four one-to-one meetings with different builders, Tudor was who we went with! They were professional, nice and knowledgeable right from the start.
We loved meeting Paul and Mark initially, talking through the numbers, what was feasible and what wasn’t, methodology and most importantly teams of people who would be working on the project including access to see a number of builds in progression without finalising the confirmation of going with them!
After meeting Dave, Jamie and some of the other lads doing other jobs, we knew that these guys were great, from discussing different opportunities to helping us understand how the whole build comes together right down to working with other third-party suppliers too.
Throughout the year’s build of the extensive wrap-around double extension including loft conversion, their team particularly Jamie was absolutely fantastic. We discussed different ideas and ways to build different rooms, features and functionality and we thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the lads who were diligent and delightful. The family feel that these guys have was a bonus and addition to our own ideas and ways of living which nicely gelled us together.
They not only recommended information and other innovative and functional parts of the build, but they ensured that we weren’t going overboard by wanting all the bells and whistles which we didn’t need to! They were brilliant with our neighbours and were always helpful to anyone who they came across ensuring their integrity from the project manager down to the bricklayer on the ground. Emile and his little team were amazing, particularly in waiting that our loft was built with maximum space and ensured really tight and neat eves. They were commended by tradesmen alike that I had sourced myself amid which they continue to partner with. The whole team were fun during the build and was a pleasure to have around as we knew we were in safe hands.
We are so happy with Tudor; they’ve promised and delivered on time and on budget. Would recommend Tudor to anyone and am happy to discuss any finer points further too or show others around
