House Design and Planning

Design

We work closely with highly respected architects with extensive experience across St Albans and Hertfordshire, ensuring every project is designed with a clear understanding of local planning considerations, site conditions and the surrounding environment. From ground conditions and drainage to orientation and layout, every aspect of a property is carefully considered to achieve the best possible outcome.

As a flexible design and build company, we are equally happy to work with your chosen architect and existing plans. Whether we're delivering a home extension, renovation or new build home, we can build from approved designs and adapt them as your ideas evolve. Throughout the process, our focus remains the same: creating exceptional homes and ensuring every client enjoys a smooth, collaborative experience from concept to completion.

Your ideas, our drawings

At Tudor Design & Build, we combine your vision with our extensive design and construction expertise to create detailed architectural plans tailored to your lifestyle and aspirations. As ideas develop and new possibilities emerge, we work closely with you to refine every aspect of the design, carefully balancing aesthetics, functionality and budget.

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We take the time to understand your priorities, discuss design options and guide you through the decision-making process, ensuring every element contributes to a home that is both beautiful and practical.

To bring your ideas to life, we produce initial floor plans and elevation drawings that help you visualise the layout, scale, character and potential of the space. Whether you're planning a home extension, renovation or bespoke new build home in St Albans or the surrounding area, our design and build team provides expert guidance from concept through to construction.
